I Dhairyasheel Vilas Lad (Proprietor) being mentored by Mr.Subhendhu Sharma the pioneer in native afforestation  proudly launch a new vertical “NATIVE AFFORESTATION”
I have been working as a contractor  in the field of landscape development and maintenance from 1999 which has added a 19 years of rich experience in plantation and all the aspects of the landscape/hardscape/irrigation/electrical /rock scape and the maintenance of the landscape .
In this years I was working with plants ,soil and other elements of landscape and also vertical garden or green walls.
In this aspect one thing was remarkably missing that was the use of the native plants.
In the landscape I was used to follow plans and also implemented them meticulously giving details to the minute details.
But this landscape did not attract birds ,insects and it was not becoming a eco system in itself  as we where planting non-native plants ,huge lawns  which demanded huge amount of water,chemical fertilizers and even huge quantum of skilled man power .
After doing all this I released we will need to plant native trees to get back the flora and fauna .
As I was finding a mentor for this ,I found a mentor in the form of
Mr Subhendhu Sharma the Leader for Afforestt .
He trained me at his workshop to implement the native a forestation by using the technique  developed and implemented by DR AKIRA MIYVAKI .
So under his mentorship I have taken the initiative to  implement the campaign of native
aforestation  by the name of “VANAROPANA”  a Sanskrit word meaning native afforestation ,in the space as small as 6 car park that is from the size  of say 50 sq mtr a small forest  to any size.
We specialize in making a dense native forest using the Miyavaki Method of afforestation named after a Japanese scientist  “Dr.Akira Miyavaki” who is the pioneer in the technique of native afforestation.

    • These  small forest planted in the space of 6 car parks will have  35 to 35 varieties of native plants secies divided in 4 catogeries:-Canopy /Under growth /Trees/Shrubs.
    • We can grow this forest in almost any geographical condition leaving apart some very extreme or never forested areas on the globe.

    • This high density of native plants attracts a very high number of birds  and other animal species and helps that  forest area became a self sustanaible ecosystem in itself afeter say 2-3 years.
    • This native forest is so dense that it is practical a no see through forest and it acts as a good sound and dust barrier  and can be a good isolator medium.
    • It has 30 times more plants in it so it absorbs 30 times more CO2
    • This plantation technique guarantees 1 metre growth of plants per year
    • It converts the total planted land into a maintenance free forest   after a period of 2-3 years .

Why plant using this technique.

 

  • The dense plantation provides 30 times more oxygen as compared to te conventional forest
  • The native plant forest helps restore the local eco system by feeding the micro organism an thus keep the soil fertile.
  •  A single native plant supports as many as 20 bird species
  • Native fruit plants  produce  fruits which are harmless and any residue free for the consumption of animals and humans
  • We believe that the native forest enhance rainfall
  • Native forest plants help in cooling the atmosphere by releasing good amount of water vapour in the atmosphere .
  • The cooling effect of the forest help to reduce the use of air conditioner which in turn reduces the release of the un wanted and harm full gases in atmosphere.

Where can we plants the native forest:-

 

    • We can plant the forest in any geography be it urban or any geography.
    • The size of the forest can be as small as the size of  car park to any size as per the requirement.
    • It can be planted in rectangle /circular or any shapes as per the availability of the space.
    • Itcan be planted in any geography leaving apart only very few percent of land on the globe which never had forest such as snow capped mountains/very marshy land etc.
    • It can a be a very mini forest on the back yard of a house.
    • It can also be in form of a strip of land in the back yard.
    •  It can be planted on the sea shore to act as a air barrier.This will prevent erosion of soil by air and water.
    • It can be planted on slopes for the retention of soil by the binding force of the roots.The slope has to be checked first before the plantation to check the angle of the slope to get a proper plan of the plantation.
    • A urban forest park also can be planted amidst the cities to get the much needed oxygen generation and the CO2 absorption.
    • On soil fills to help stabilize the soil fill and prevent the flow of loose soil by rains.
